Announcing the follow up to their wonderful 2018 LP Ecstatic Arrow, Virginia Wing have returned with an assertive new single, 'I'm Holding Out For Something'. Nodding to nostalgic sonic textures, a big kick-clap pattern is doused in reverb as fizzing hi-hat sounds gently tickle your ear drums. String-like synthesizers add an orchestral/sci-fi quality to the track as Alice Merida Richards' characterful vocal delivery upholds the bands' synth-pop sensibility, getting her point across that's she's no longer willing to compromise or accept less that she deserves. Virginia Wing's 5th album privateLIFE will arrive on the 12th of February via Fire Records.
